Miranda holds space with empathy and creativity, while helping her clients heal any blocks to peace and self-acceptance. She helps her clients identify trouble spots in love, work, and relationship to self…in order to be able to work their way together to the unconscious beliefs at the root.
Miranda offers a psychodynamic approach, which means looking into the past to understand the present. She focuses on alleviating anxiety, depression, and feelings of being stuck. Creating a secure relationship in the room, Miranda aims to understand each client fully as an individual, to support their personal growth and self-actualization.
With a 20-year background in acting, Miranda loves to work with people in the performing arts. She also specializes in parenting, particularly in supporting new moms and dads as they adjust to this phase of life. Miranda currently helps facilitate Mommy & Me classes and was trained in RIE philosophy.
Miranda earned her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Mount Saint Mary’s University, Los Angeles. She received clinical training at the prestigious Maple Counseling Center, Beverly Hills. In addition to her formal training, she has studied Improvisation, Parenting, and Child Development.
